The credits just rolled on Sony’s latest PS3 exclusive. Electrifying?

  • Kotaku is reporting that Sony's discussed new PlayStation Motion Controller details with developers during recent partner presentations. Although the name and form factor of the controller has yet to be finalised, Sony's confirmed that up to four can be simultaniously supported, the controllers will feature rumble and there's a chance they could work in tandem with existing game pads. #
  • Rockstar have just announced that the previously Nintendo DS-exclusive Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is coming to the PSP. According to the press release, the game will be available at both retail and digitally via the PlayStation Store. The release notes that the game will "take full advantage of the power of the PSP", so it's safe to assume the visuals will be cranked up a notch. It's possible that the move is the result of the game's disappointing sales on Nintendo's portable. No release date for the PSP version has been announced. #
  • Update: Microsoft is now offering the same discount to Australian gamers - if you're a Silver member, follow this link. Original story: Joystiq is reporting that US Silver Xbox Live members are being offered one month of Gold membership for one dollar - that's pretty hard to pass up. No word yet on a similar promotion for Australian silver members. Currently, only 50% of the 630,000-odd Xbox 360s sold in Australia are connected to Xbox Live in any form. #
  • A quick reminder that Xbox Live will be down for 24 hours from today, 16/06/2009. In the absence of multiplayer I'm off to see Terminator: Salvation and catch up on single player Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. What're you playing? #
  • Mark this one in your calendars - Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 7 will release globally on the 22nd of October 2009. Time to do your SKU research - only 79 to chose from! #
